Joomla 3.x. How to manage progress bars

The following tutorial shows how to manage progress bars in Joomla templates.

Progress bars in Joomla templates are created using the Articles Newsflash (Advanced) 模块.

1. In order to check what category the 模块 pulls articles from, navigate to the Extensions -> 模块s 选项卡. Use search by keywords or by type (Articles Newsflash) to find the needed 模块:

   

2. Check the category in a 模块 选项卡:

   

3. 在 Content -> Articles 选项卡 filter content by categories to find all the articles assigned to the category used by the 模块:

   

4. Open the needed article and navigate to the Images and Links 选项卡. Bar value can be edited in a Caption 字段:

   

Now let us create a new progress bar.

1. First create a new article and assign it to the required category (the one used by the 模块):

   

2. Set the needed value in the Images and Links 选项卡 and save the changes:

   

3. Navigate to the Extensions -> 模块s menu, change the number of articles pulled by the 模块 and set the needed number of columns:

   

4. Save the changes and refresh your page to see a new bar added.
